Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) changes lives on so many levels, both personal and professional. It decreases stress, improves emotional health, and enhances the ability to live your best life.
MBSR teaches a shift in perspective, reframing our relationship with stress to reduce reactivity and conditional response. It helps us cope more effectively with life’s challenges, big or small, whether they’re related to work, health, personal relationships or life itself.
The best news? MBSR is teachable.

This eight-week mindfulness training program that was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. It was initially created it for chronically ill patients who were not responding well to traditional treatments, but it is now used for a variety of reasons by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. Research shows that eight weeks of MBSR training can rewire our brains, inviting greater control over the regions connected to conditional response, emotional reactivity, and fear.
MBSR also reduces cortisol levels, increases cognition and memory, and improves immune system and heart health—resulting in a healthier, more resilient, productive, and authentic you.
It is a secular program and is one of the largest non-religiously based mindful meditation programs. Its roots do come from spiritual teachings, as do all mindfulness meditation programs, but it is largely based on proven medical and psychological research. It is open to everyone and does not suggest any religion over another to its students.
We all have stress in our lives.
We all carry it and feel it.
Let MBSR help you manage it better.
