Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week evidence-based program that offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist people with general stress, anxiety, depression and pain.
It uses a combination of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, yoga and exploration of patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling and action.
It is the non-judgmental acceptance and investigation of present experience, including body sensations, internal mental states, thoughts, emotions, impulses and memories, in order to reduce suffering or distress and to increase well-being.
Through this, attention skills are cultivated, emotional regulation is developed, and rumination and worry are significantly reduced.
There is proven clinical research which suggests its potential beneficial effects for mental health, as well as physical health.
Grief Recovery helps grievers deal with those things they wish might have been different or better. It gives them the chance to address their dreams and hopes for the future, which is not the future they had planned. It helps them address the words left unspoken. It helps them with the lost relationship that they thought would cause them pain for the rest of their lives.
It helps you be emotional complete, so you can then live your most joyful and balanced life.
